Fiona grew up in the Lake District and qualified from Newcastle University Dental School and has been a part of the practice since 1998. Fiona likes to keep up to date with current thinking and gained her Faculty of General Dental Practitioners qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2003. Most aspects of dentistry appeal to Fiona, although there is a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, children's dentistry and sedation - Fiona gained her Diploma in Conscious Sedation in 2003. In July 2006 Fiona became joint principal and has made her goal to help people keep beautiful smiles. Fiona has also gained experience in cosmetic dentistry completing a one year course in Practical Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry in 2008. Fiona has been working as a dentist now for 20 years and has advanced her skills to do more cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry including wrinkle reduction, fillers and Invisalign.  She is passionate about sport, especially running and cycling. She has recently completed the London marathon in April 2019 in a time of 3h51 dressed as a tooth and made it into the Guinness Book of World Records 2020, page 237!
